The fitted kitchen is well equipped, has a gas full cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, coffee maker. Living roomsThe largest of our 3 detached cottages CHESTNUT. The lounge has a magnificent feature fire place with wood burner  and a "Prie-dieu" which was used by Pilgrims for washing and praying  There is also an open plan dining area and a well equipped fitted kitchen and an open staircase.There is also an open plan dining area and a well equipped fitted kitchen, open staircase TV, Video, DVD, and spare portable TV ideal for games consoles. Bedrooms4 bedrooms Two double and two twins. One of the bedrooms and a shower room are situated on the ground floor.  External facilities
The cottage is equipped to a very high standard. Ground floors are open plan in the traditional Breton style. Roof beams, trusses and original stone walls are exposed throughout. Situated right in the heart of rural Brittany, a 300 year old commune of 4 superb individual detached cottages at the end of a leafy country lane. With no passing traffic, nestling in 3 acres of land on the edge of the picturesque LAC DU DORDU. The cottages share the 30`x 20`solar heated swimming pool. Special features
There is an added attraction of an original Breton Bread Oven in the grounds, the gardens are well stocked and attractive. The extensive grounds afford the opportunity for quiet relaxation and contemplation (there is a separate playing field for those boisterous ball games). Guests can enjoy a quiet game of boules; explore the surrounding countryside on our cycles (we have cycles available) or on foot. WIFI available. Each cottage has a private garden with a lake view including garden furniture, parasol and BBQ.

The LAC DU DORDU is accessible directly from our grounds and includes small beach, lakeside bar and children’s play area. Fishing at lake LAC DU DORDU has some large common carp, large Pike, tench perch and last season even some wild trout, and fishing permits can be purchased for a day for 4€ at the village bar, so why not try your luck at fishing and with a variety of bird life makes an idyllic retreat treat. Canoeing, rowing boats can be used on the lake but no motorized Local activities
Driving is a pleasure on wonderfully quiet country roads which wind through beautiful tree lined valleys and sleepy villages. This is a fantastic area for cycling, rambling and bird watching. It is an artist’s paradise with wonderful light and a painting every time you turn around.

Locally we can offer Horse riding that is less than 10 min's away and a superb 9 hole golf course about 25 min's away, Quad Biking and the famous Lac de Guerledan with all manner of water sports and boat trips is 20 minutes away. The Nantes Brest canal is 15 minutes drive. The picturesque Guld de Morbihan is than an hour away, as are the historic towns of Anray, Vannes, Quimper and Josselin.

With so many coastlines, many leisure activities are focused on the water: sailing, surfing, canoeing, rowing, and sand yachting. Kerhotten is situated at the northern edge of the Morbihan, surrounded by open fields and farmland. The local village is 1 km away and provides a boulangerie, bar and pizzeria. The larger town of Guemene sur scorff is 7km away. We are approx 15min away from the Nantes/Brest Canal, The famous Lac de Guerledan, with water sports, restaurants, beaches etc. is 20min away, and southern coastal beaches are less than an hour away. Historic towns of Vannes, Josselin, Auray & Quimper in just over an hour.
