La Bertonnière is a small hamlet in the heart of the Loire Valley. 

Our house is part of this hamlet, and is a traditional longère (long two floor building as in the photos), which was built around 1800.    

The property has 1 acre of land overlooking the beautiful surroundings and is set in a tranquil rural area with excellent access to the delights of local region: Châteaux, Caves (Wine sellers), historic villages and towns, golf and leisure facilities, and beautiful country walks.   

The property is just 15mins from the medieval town of Loches, Historic town of Montresor and the quaint town of Chatillon.    

Local amenities: Golf, mini golf, water sports lake, fishing, canoeing, bike hire, quad bikes, cross country driving, swimming pools, tennis and designated walks around the local village and further into the local woods. 

L'hirondelle will sleep 6 + baby comfortably upstairs, and utilizes the existing downstairs layout and facilities of the main house.
