Maison Bishop is a beautifully restored traditional French Farmhouse and barn with a luxurious saline pool, nestled in the hamlet of Cuneges near Bergerac in the heart of the Dordogne, South West France

The property which has spacious accommodation has been tastefully restored, combining traditional charm and modern convenience.

There are two independent properties which can be let separately, or together for larger groups, although the Barn is never let independently of the Farmhouse, for reasons of privacy. The Farmhouse has three bedrooms upstairs and two on the ground floor. The Barn has a bedroom on the mezzanine floor and one downstairs. Adjacent to the main house is a separate laundry room.

The South facing, enclosed garden has a paved patio area, gazebo, garden furniture and a barbeque. The kidney shaped pool with regulation alarm system is for the private use of our guests. The large drive has ample parking space for 3 cars.
Pool towels are all provided, and there are inflatables for the pool.

There is a huge trunk full of childrens toys, and adult board games, table football, playing cards etc. and a selection of reading books and DVD's

Bed linen and towels are provided. Extra linen and cleaning services can be arranged.
A Welcome Pack is provided for your arrival as supermarkets have restricted opening times.

The property is well situated to enjoy all of the local attractions. There are market days in most nearby towns, a list of which will be provided for our guests. The night markets are also well frequented by both English and French and are more of a social event than a shopping expedition!
Nearby is the well-known golf course at Chateau Vigiers and within a 15km radius you can find wonderful walking tracks as well as cycling, canoeing, horse riding, tennis and much more. The area is famous for its chateaux and caves and for exploring the countryside, or you can simply curl up by the pool and relax! Local restaurants are in abundance and a list of recommendations will be left for your consideration. Each property has an extensive 'things to do booklet' and a routes des vins guide.

Bergerac airport is 25 minutes drive away and Bordeaux is approximately 1hr 30 minutes
