This charmingly renovated village house has all the charm of the old house and all the comfort of a modern one. Wooden floors and beamed ceilings are nicely contrasted with a light airy décor. The living quarters are on the first and second floor.  On the first floor is the kitchen ( which is fully equipped with washing machine , dish-washer) lounge/diner and glycine covered terrasse. The terrasse has a table and chairs for al frescoe dining and two deckchairs for relaxing in and admiring the view.  On the second floor is the bathroom   with a full size bath and two bedrooms , 1 double and 1 twin.

In front of the house is a small private garden and  asmaller terrasse as well as a barbecue.

The village has 90 people so is lovely and quiet.  there are many walks possible, several from the house itself, either in the beech forest behind the village or in the open countryside in front.

Nearby you can swim in rivers or a swimming pool, visit cathar castles, dramatic gorges, romanesque abbeys and chapels. The sea is 1 1/4 hrs away.
