The Landry family will be happy to welcome you in their lodgings " le Mas des roses".

Our 18th century Provencal farmhouse, nestled in the heart of the Cèze valley, is a 5-minute walk from the village of Goudargues, and 200 m from the river, attended diligently by swimmers, fishing and canoeing lovers.


We offer our visitors three lodgings accommodating from 2 to 5 people. The apartments have just been restored and provide quality services.

Enjoy your stay in the middle of vineyards (AOC Côtes du Rhône for amateurs), and the landscaped garden, with its pond, roses and lavender, as well as the family swimming pool.

The village of Goudargues, nicknamed "Little Venice of the Gard" will delight you, thanks not only to the charm of its narrow streets and canals lined with shady centenarians plane trees, but also by its many shops and good restaurants.

 

Description and services of the lodgings

 

Our three appartments are tastefully and authentically furnished. Their antique furniture, woodwork and stained glasses, their renovated stone walls, staircase as well as their rural ceramics give them a refined charm

Alphonse Daudet Gîte

Ground-level accomodation, 70 m2, capacity 4/5 people

• This apartment features a living room with a double bed and sofa, a twin bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with a restored 1900s bathtub, a fully-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances (oven, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee machine, toaster...), a terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. This apartment offers a superb view of the vineyards and the perched medieval village of Cornillon.

Anita Day Gîte

Accommodation located on the first floor, 50 m2, cability 2/3 people

• This gîte offers the visitor a remarkable Art Deco unit, particularly with its Majorelle signed pieces of rosewood furniture and a beautiful complete original bathroom from the 1920s, all in perfect condition. In the living room you will find a double bed, a sofa bed, and a wardrobe. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances (ceramic hob, microwave, espresso machine, toaster...). The balcony (10 m2) is shaded by a superb two-hundred-year-old lime tree, and fine oak garden furniture is also provided. This apartment offers also a superb view of the vineyards and the perched medieval village of Cornillon.

Count Basie Lodging

Ground level accommodation, 40 m2, cability 2/3 people

• This apartment is located in the former wine cellar. Its originality lies in the fact that the structures of the old rounded tanks were kept, which gives the place a unique atmosphere. The double bed took place on an elevated dais, isolated from the rest of the room by a glass wall. A sofa bed, a wardrobe, a dining area fill the living room. The bathroom with shower is tiled with molten glass. The kitchen is complete (refrigerator, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, toaster...). You can eat out on the shaded terrace which has garden furniture.

General services within all lodgings

• All lodgings have hi-fi and Wi-Fi Internet access
•All lodgings have barbecues
•A washing machine is at the disposal of our guests
• We provide bed linen and blankets. We ask you to bring your towels.
• All the apartments' private entrances give on a secluded landscaped courtyard, which guarantees a place of tranquillity. It is shaded by a bicentennial lime tree, and is adorned by a wonderful climbing rose tree "Pierre de Ronsard, who covers himself with a profusion of rares roses."
•In the garden itself (2000 m2), you will find a 36 m2 swimming pool (open from early June to late September) and a fine andscaped garden and pond.
•Private shaded parking lot at the entrance to the property.

General remarks concerning all lodgings

• The apartments are non-smoking.
• If you can not leave your four-legged pet behind, and if it is clean and discreet, it is welcome
• Regarding the cleaning, you can either leave the apartment clean, or ask us to clean exit for a fee of 20 euros
