Le Pigeonnier is part of a small, English family run holiday complex set in 4 acres of landscaped garden with swimming pool, childrens play park and also a Bistro, serving meals daily.

 Le Pigeonnier has been newly decorated and fitted with double glazed windows and a log burning fire, other features include a terrocotta tiled floor and an oak beamed ceiling. It has 3 bedrooms and sleeps upto 8. It has a fully equiped kitchen, large dining table, seating 8 and soft furnishings for 8 also. There is a TV showing English channels, DVD and video player, with video's for all ages, available to borrow from our library, also free WiFi connection is available.

Leading from the kitchen is your private garden with a decked area with patio furniture and BBQ. 

Two bedrooms have double beds, whilst the third bedroom has 2 single beds and bunk beds, sleeping 8 people comfortably in proper beds.

Your beds will be made up for your arrival, with all linen, bath and pool towels included.

A cot and high chair are also available to borrow on request.

A basic welcome pack is supplied free of charge ready for your arrival. It is possible to upgrade your welcome pack if required.

The living area contains a wood burning fire, for which you will recieve a starter pack of wood.

The Bistro serves food every day, from full English breakfast, lunch time snacks and a 3 course evening meal with wine or beer included for 17 euros. Sample menu's can be viewed on our web site. We are pleased to cater for all types of dietery requirements. Childrens menu available. Outside the Bistro we have a large decked area over looking the garden and childrens play park, so you can keep an eye on them while you relax and enjoy a cool glass of wine and chat to fellow holiday makers.

The local village of Monbahus has a bar/restuarant, bakery, butchers, mini supermarket and tabac. There are daily markets in different villages every day and during the summer, there are numerous night markets that feature music, dancing and food. Larger towns such as Bergerac and Villeneuve sur Lot have larger supermarkets and many restuarants to choose from.

There are many things to do locally as well as the markets, alfresco dining and wine tasting. There are several rivers where boats and canoes can be hired, a Golf course with an English PGA golf instructor, a man-made lake and beach which has a waterslide and childrens play park. There is an Aquarium, Aqua swimming parks, crazy golf, go-carts, horse riding, fishing and a tree top adventure park to name a few activities.

We can also arrange for a beauty therapist to visit during your stay, please book in advance. A list of treatments are available on our web site.

Laundry facilities are available and your accomodation will have an iron and ironing board.

We also have Bed and Breakfast, with an All Inclusive option for £55 pnpp, and also Rose cottage, which is our 2 bedroom accomodation, sleeping 4. 

We are situated 30 minutes from Bergerac airport and 90 minutes from Bordeaux.

We are pleased to assist with local car hire and can also arrange airport pick-ups. 

Due to unavoidable circumstances, some of our facilities may be unavailable from time to time. If this happens we will notify you if this will affect your booking.
