Just 1500m from Cabrerets, Trédède nestles peacefully alongside the River Célé with 250 metres of river frontage affording excellent opportunity for canoeing, bathing and fishing. Wildlife abounds in this prehistoric landscape situated in the Parc Natural Regional des Causes du Quercy. Each of Trédède’s charming bedrooms has its own private bath/shower room. In summer breakfast is served on the balcony overlooking the river and majestic limestone cliffs. There are available, for those guests not wishing to dine out, a fully fitted kitchen and a BBQ for that evening picnic by the river. In the winter all the rooms are centrally heated and there is a log fire in the living room.

Canoeing, horse riding, cycling, fishing (day licence 8€), walking, sightseeing, caving and river trips are all available nearby.

Balade en canoë, baignade, pêcher (permis 8€ par jour), équitation, spéléologie, vélo ou randonnées pédestres par le GR 651 - or just chill out by the river, take a swim, read a book , BBQ or watch the kingfishers. Cabrerets : This charming little village sits on the confluence of the rivers Sagne and Célé and dominated by the Château de Gontaut Biron. Visit the ruins of the Château du Diable, hanging on the side of the cliff one of the oldest middle age buildings in the Lot.
Grotte du Pech-Merle. One of Frances most interesting caves with prehistoric paintings and Musée Amedée-Lemozi. You can walk through huge chambers and corridors for 2km or so, gazing at amazing prehistoric drawings, paintings and etchings of bison, mammoth, horses and people.
There are also prehistoric footprints on the floors and handprints on the walls. These large, accessible caves are decorated with spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.

Cahors is a cathedral city and the départmental capital. It is only a 30 minute drive from Trédède and is famous for its Cathedral, Roman Bridge and Secret Gardens
Saint Cirq Lapopie. Just 10 mins drive away is one of the prettiest villages in France. It occupies a most remarkable setting clinging to the side of the Lot Valley. The timber-framed houses are packed close in steep, shady, cobbled medieval streets. A number of artisans such as potters, leather workers, silk screeners and jewellers now live here adding a picturesque attraction with colourful bars and restaurants.
Le défilé des Anglais. Visit this spectacle on one of the river trips from Bouzier just 5 minutes away on the River Lot.
