A family property, “La Giraudière” is located in the region of Anjou, at La Tourlandry, 14 km from Cholet and 40 km from Angers, at the foot of Notre Dame des Gardes, the highest point of the Maine et Loire (216 m), about 15 minutes of the Puy du Fou. The house stands in the middle of 7 hectares of grounds, offering many activities : swimming, pétanque, basket-ball, ping-pong, volley ball, badminton, bike riding … siesta.

Also available, are an 18-hole golf course in Cholet, and tennis courts only 2 km away.

Enjoy the sun from morning to evening by the heated pool (26°C ; 16 x 8 meters), in the middle of the park, away from the house and surrounded by flowers and olive trees.

The park, in its typically pre-Napoleon III style, offers a variety of magnificent trees. Many of its oaks and cedars are over tree hundred years old. Abundant flowerbeds delight the eye from early spring to late fall. At the very edge of the grounds, the tiny chapel called "Notre Dame des Diables", with its two stained-glass windows, adds a note of charm and peacefulness to the property.

The first floor includes three sitting rooms, a dining room and a vast kitchen. Meals can also be served outside, under “La Grange” (the barn), “Le Sophora” (the pagoda tree) or “La Treille” (the arbour), for a relaxed, holiday atmosphere.

Built originally next to a “Mozarabe” style castle restored in 1826 “La Grange” served as a shelter for five horse-drawn carriages. It was converted into a barn around 1875 and enlarged during the 1920’s. Today, this remarkable construction, with its oak framework and cedar of Lebanon laths, is a magnificent reception hall with a seating capacity of 150 diners (almost 200 for the brunch or cocktail options). It opens out onto a seventeen-acre park filled with trees over a hundred years old.

De LA ROCHELLE ou de La Roche sur YON par A87 prendre sortie 26 CHOLET Nord et suivez les indications ci-dessus.

Venant de NANTES ou CHOLET, prendre sortie RN 160 dir. ANGERS et suivez les indications ci-dessus.

De SAUMUR : Prendre RN 161 (dir. CHOLET). Traverser VIHIERS puis CORON. A la sortie de CORON (env. 300m), prendre à DROITE dir. LA TOURLANDRY. A LA TOURLANDRY - Au STOP, prendre en face (légèrement à gauche) dir. TRÉMENTINES. Faire 4km300 et sur la Gauche, la propriété avec arbres et murs, au croisement, la grille Blanche... Bienvenue à LA GIRAUDIÉRE ! PAR LE TRAIN :
De Paris, prendre TGV dir. NANTES, PORNIC ou LA BAULE changer à ANGERS. Prendre TER dir. CHOLET - descendre selon les trains à CHEMILLE (20 mn d'Angers, c'est mieux) ou à CHOLET (37 mn d'Angers). Attention, certains trains sont directs CHOLET.
