This delightful cottage  set in the grounds of a small tranquille orchard is on the edge of the small village of La Jousseliniere between the town of Ste Hermine & La Caillere in Southern Vendee, Two ensuite bedroom cottage Sleeps 5, it is well equipped & available to rent throughout the year. Lovingly restored and set in a peaceful orchard the perfect place for a relaxing and de-stressing holiday. A great location for exploring the coast and the many towns and villages which are within easy driving distance

  The Cottage is well equipped and decorated to a high standard; it consists on the ground floor, a lounge, kitchen/diner and small utility and toilet. The upper floor consists of two double bedrooms both en-suites with views over the garden: The lounge is equipped with sofas, dining table, chairs, T.V. & video, radio etc. The Kitchen has a cooker, microwave, and a dishwasher. The utility room has a fridge/freezer washing machine, iron and ironing board. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with ensuite shower room, a wardrobe and bedside tables. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom, bath with shower. There is also available a 'put-u-up' single bed and cot for this room, Bed linen and towels provided. The outside area has a private patio and garden for your use including garden table with chairs and also a BBQ. You can also use the orchard to relax in: play table tennis, French boulles etc  

*** The cottage is set in grounds of a small orchard in the hamlet of La Jousseliniere which is 10 minutes from Ste Hermine which has a supermarket, chemists, bars, restaurants, banks, hairdressers, petrol & a local market every Friday. You can explore the coast, forests, lakes, marsh lands, chateau's, churches, museums, golf, fishing, cycling, walking & much more. 
So much to see & do or just sit back & relax. 
The Vendee boasts its own micro climate 2000 hours of sunshine per year the highest on the Atlantic coast, equivalent to the Riviera 
Places to Visit 
Lucon (10 miles away) is a charming town, full of history the Dumaine gardens one of the "Most Beautiful Gardens of France". The centre-piece of the town is the Notre-Dame cathedral, 
Fontenay-le-Comte (14 miles away) A town of art & history lies midway between the Poitou Marshes & the Forest of Mervent. The city has retained its beautiful architecture, & has a particularly relaxed pace of life. The town has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants. 
The port of La Rochelle (37 miles away) has a wonderful array of shops & boutiques. The harbour side spoils you for choice of restaurants & there is a large Sunday market. The city has a rich historical heritage & wonderful museums. Those who love the sea & old ships should make for the port. 
Les Sables d'Olonne (40 miles away) reflects all the retro atmosphere of the seaside fishing ports & marinas,  
Le Puy du Fou (27 miles away)France's leading historical theme park by day a fun way to explore the past & by night is a unforgettable evening's entertainment in which 2700 amateur actors narrate the saga of Vendee  
Beaches Around 30 kms of fine sandy beaches 3 seaside villages. La Tranche-Sur-Mer, La Faute-Sur-Mer & L'Aiguillon-Sur-Mer.  
There are 5 18 Golf Courses in The Vendee. You can hire clubs on the spot at The Golf de la Domangere au Nesmy & The Golf de Port Bourgenay. 
Fishing whatever your style of fishing, Sea, Lake & river there is enough to cater for all tastes.

Rental Conditions: A non returnable deposit of 25% is required to confirm booking. And the balance to be paid 6 weeks before the holiday starts. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
