It has great character and tremendous atmosphere, with its ancient stairways, original tiled floors, traditional beamed ceilings and tasteful decoration. The house is set in its own vineyard and surrounded by many more. Built on a large estate, the property offers open and covered terraces on the south and north sides offering many different seating and dining areas with quality garden furniture.

The large back garden over looks the Cote du Rhone valley and the ancient villages of Sablet, Seguret (one of Frances prettiest villages), and Rasteau. The back garden connects directly to the owners vinyards. The south facing front garden consists of a swimming pool (11x5.5mts) with a summer kitchin and bbq. There is a garage for one car and addtional parking on the property for two others. The comforatble furnishings and open fireplaces complimented by a full central heating system makes Four à Chaux a home for all seasons.

The ground floor of the house consists of the main entrance hall, a large living room with plenty of comfortable seating, a raised dining area with an art deco dining table suitable for eight and a large open traditional fireplace. Each ensuite bedroom is served by its own staircase offering complete privacey for those holydaying with freinds or older children.

The master bedroom opens onto a garden terrace through a set of double french doors. Its en suite bathroom has a centre tub and seperate shower.

The other two bedrooms also have there own shower rooms, both have twin beds.

Four à Chaux is quiet and situated amidst vineyards, but it is not isolated. It is a ten minute stroll to the nearby village of Sablet and less by car to the nearby medieval villages of Seguret, Gigondas, Vacqueras and Rasteau, all famous for their Cote du Rhone wines. In the charming village of SAblet you will find all the shops for any every day needs, including a post office, a pharmacey  bank and medical centre. There is a good family owned restuarant with a terrace and a typical cafe. There are tennis courts open to the public and golf courses in Orange and Avignon.
