Come and discover the Orri de Planès, a trailside Eco-Lodge located at an elevation of 1550 meters above sea level along the Trans- Pyrenees hiking trail (GR 10). In this magnificent setting in the Eastern French Pyrenees, you'll find a complex made up of a cozy 10 room-inn, a comfortable hiker’s lodge and a small campground.

The inn is called « l’Orri » and is set in an old stone farmhouse that’s been completely redone to accommodate couples and/or families who want to spend a relaxing stay in the mountains. Guests sleep in comfortable soundproofed rooms and enjoy delicious meals prepared using only locally produced and/or organic ingredients. The stone and wood dining room has a fireplace and views over the Peric mountain range. Above the dining area, there is an original loft space with living room, library, T.V. corner and childrens’ play area. In summertime, a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool is open to all.

The inn’s owners are outdoor enthusiasts and dedicated ecologists and the Eco-Lodge is a reflection of their environmental values. At the same time that they try to limit the environmental impact of the inn as much as possible (solar heating and electricity, local and organic foods, recycling of all waste, environmentally friendly cleaning products, etc.), they also use the project as a platform for raising awareness of ecological issues. Guests are invited to discover the beauty of the natural surroundings and encouraged to participate in the effort to preserve this environment through a series of simple eco-gestures.
