'Orchard View' is the second biggest of the self-catering gites at 'Le Jardin des Amis' comprising 3 ensuite bedrooms (2 double/1 twin) and a well equipped kitchen with open plan dining/living area.

The properties were originally a farm which has been renovated to retain original features such as exposed beams and 'pierre apparent' walls. Orchard View is arranged on two floors, accessed via a veranda which looks out over the rear of the properties: the perfect spot for an early evening glass of wine with its view of the pool and or orchard.  

The 12 x 6m pool (open from 1st May - 30th September) is shared between the gites as are the laundry facilities. Our pool bar is the ideal place to socialize after a busy day of sight-seeing. 

 

This is the perfect location for a sightseeing or activity holiday, positioned between the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. The Vezere valley is renowned for its links to prehistory: it abounds with famous caves, and the National museum for pre-history is found in Les Eyzie (4 miles away). The Dordogne valley is known for the 'Bastide Chateaux' which are dotted along it's length. For those who like outdoor activities, there are many opportunities for canoeing, walking, fishing and riding.  The beautiful medieval town of Sarlat is 10 miles away.
