Here at La Treille we have 3 separate gîtes available, each accommodating between 2-6, 2-5 & 2-3 persons individually or for a large group of up to 14 persons.

La Treille is situated in the Department of the Dordogne in the Aquitaine region of SW France. The Dordogne is also fondly known as the 'Perigord Vert' because of its lush scenic countryside with forests, lakes, hills, valleys and meandering rivers. 

Discover and explore the many Chateaux with their gardens and vineyards, the ancient cities, towns and villages with their colourful markets and stunning architecture.

We are ideally located in between Bordeaux, Angoulême & Bergerac and within easy reach of 4 major airports.

The property sits perfectly amid the rolling hills of the  Dronne Valley in between 2 perfectly quaint villages of Montagrier and Tocane St Apre.  We are on a headland of the River Dronne - one of the most picturesque areas in France. 

Beautiful surroundings and immaculate accommodation in which to enjoy your holiday, unwind, relax and all within easy reach of the many sites and attractions that the Dordogne Region has to offer.

THE GITES:

•  Le Blé - Sleeps 2-6

Our 1st gite was built and renovated just 2 years ago and is situated within the Old Tabacco Barn.  Retaining original features, exposed stone walls, beams and much more.  It occupies 2 floors.

The ground floor is an open-plan design, comprising kitchen and dining area, lounge and separate wc. The galley style kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons.

The lounge / TV area is comfortably furnished for 6. 

Upstairs, are the 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin - one has bunk beds), sleeping up to 6 guests. A childs cot can be provided if needed!

There is a large modern tiled shower room.

All linen and towels are provided (except for beach towels).
The Gite is also fitted out with electric radiators.
There is ample secure parking space within the grounds.
 
NB  There is a washing machine, iron and laundry items in a separate Utility room.

• Le Tournesol - Sleeps 2-5 + Cot

Our latest gite has been completed ready for letting this year (2008).  Situated next to Le Blé within the Old Tabacco Barn again retaining original features, exposed stone wall and beams.  It occupies 2 floors.

Similar to Le Blé on the ground floor with an open plan design but the upstairs has just 2 bedrooms.  Although only 2 bedrooms they are very spacious and both are en-suit.  One is a double room with a modern hydro shower unit fitted in the en-suit bathroom.  The other bedroom is a triple with 1 double bed and 1 single (and a cot), the en-suit bathroom has a full size new bath with shower overhead.

The Patio is furnished with patio furniture etc and again looks over the glorious views.

• Le Maize - Sleeps 2-3

Le Maize  is situated as an annex to the main house and occupies the ground floor (no stairs). 

The accommodation comprises:-

Kitchen/Diner - (The gite is entered via the front door into the Kitchen) newly fitted units with cooker (gas hob/electric oven), large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and dining table with 4 chairs.  There is also a lovely 'feature bread oven' in this room.

The lounge is bright and airy with modern corner suit, matching armchair, coffee table, TV & DVD player.

A small double bedroom is just off the lounge.

A large bath / shower room.

Private terrace and gardens with patio furniture and barbacue etc.
