La Platriere is a beautiful recently renovated property offering self-contained cottage and main farmhouse offering B&B all set within 3 acres of gardens with large outdoor swimming pool. Situated on top of a hill, La Platriere has stunning views of the surrounding countryside. 

La Platriere is in the Allier region of the Auvergne, near the borders of Burgundy and Central, so guests can enjoy the variety of 3 different regions of France and what they offer. La Platriere is peaceful and tranquil set amidst the rural countryside in the Heart of France. Nearby is the Troncais Forest with its abundance of lakes, rivers and walks, and cycle and horseriding routes.

The cottage offers spacious accommodation of a high standard and sleeps up to 6 people. It has its own private enclosed garden and parking space. Insdie the cottage is designed with your comfort in mind, it is tastefully decorated and during the cooler months the cottage is well insulated and benefits from central heating. All linen and towels are included in the price and guests are invited to use the swimming pool and larger gardens at La Platriere. Other outdoor facilities include; petanque, childrens swings and pet goat shed.

Inside the cottage you will find upstairs 2 adjoining bedrooms, (1 double; 1 twin-bedded), both with wooden floors, exposed beams and dormer windows which look out across the gardens to the countryside beyond. A beautiful open-tread oak staircase leads downstairs to one of the two sitting rooms. This room can easily be converted to a 3rd bedroom as it has a good quality double bed settee. The other sitting room is equipped with TV, video, music centre with cd player, radio and cassette player, and board games and books for your entertainment. The separate bathroom, with shower, small bath, vanity unit and washbasin and toilet are also on the ground floor. The large kitchen diner is equipped with all mod-cons which include dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric oven, hob and extractor unit. There are also smaller electrical items such as kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and slow cooker.
